Prof Ng Kim Choon


Professor Kim Choon Ng was a Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department of the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is currently a Professor at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). He was also a distinguished visiting Professor to Jeju National University under the World Class University Program (2009-2013).

Joseph Ng

CEO, Co-Founder

Joseph Ng graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering. He founded two  startups before founding Medad Technologies. He is involved in product design, intellectual property development, R&D  and market commercialization. Joseph has a passion for taking disruptive technologies to the market and finds it both fulfilling and challenging.


Kris Childress

Business Development

 Kris Childress has a BS in Biology from Davidson in the US. He has been instrumental in the commercialisation and business development - over several decades - of a range of new technologies in the US and globally. He has been a noted guest lecturer and – in one of his roles - presented testimony on commercial energy costs to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).


Tawfiq Al Ghasham 


Tawfiq Al Ghasham has more than 31 years of service with Saudi Aramco out of which he has 25 years of experience in the field of water treatment systems. He participated in the development of SAEV Company (corporate venture capital arm of Saudi Aramco) and was responsible of the technical due diligence of new technologies. He holds a BS in chemical engineering from KFUPM (1989) and MSc. in Desalination Technology from Glasgow University in Scotland.
